Together with three former colleagues from the Helmholtz Institute Mainz (HIM), we are in the process of writing a physics book soon to be published by Oxford University Press. I am illustrating all the visual elements in the book called "Physics in your sleep". In order to get a doctor title physics departments in Germany, professors often ask a wide range of question not related at all to ones topic. My former PhD advisor and two colleagues have been writing the questions and the solutions to collect them all in the book. The solution is often intuitive and not heavily mathematical so we wanted to make a book that is visually interesting and engaging, because physics can be really fun!
